I will be wearing a Black & Gold Short Cheongsam with a Black & Gold Earrings.
Do u girls think i should do a Black & Gold Eye-do as well??
Would i be too errr...coordinated??

My D&D Theme is Shanghai Night, hence the cheongsam.

Anyone know of any Tutorial which has Oriental-like Makeup or something along that line?

Hello ladies,

I am holding a spree for the SMH Eyeshadows. I will be closing the spree on Tuesday, 1st December or when i have enough orders.

I will be placing an order for the 28-piece Palette as it is so much cheaper to get that compared to get the singles.
I have confirm with SMH and they have confirmed that the eyeshadow pans will not be assembled to the palette and will be packaged separately
in its own clamshell packaging.

I'm sure most of you have read Sarah's post on her new SMH DIY Palette. i am super super excited looking at the colours.
I have seen the swatches by Karlasugar and am amazed by their pigmentation. 

I will be ordering from SMH Website cos i figure the shipping is cheaper there and furthermore, i am looking at getting the 15 piece Palette and it is much cheaper to get it from them.

Is anybody interested in sharing shipping cost with me?
My item will be US$49.95. If i can get another US$50+ worth of orders (around 10 more eyeshadows), we can all share the shipping cost.
More orders would even be better so that shipping will be even cheaper for all of us.

Yes most of the colours are pretty Neutrals, Pinks and Purples cos these are the colours i use most of the time..

I was browsing through Onsugar and saw Fhy's Blog here:

It was about this seller in Facebook who sells the normal Ebay Palettes we always see.
(28 Neutral Palette, 78 Eyeshadow Palette etc) and claims they are MAC Pro Palette!

To me, that is very unscrupulous.
I personally don't see any problem with these sellers marking up the prices cos well, that's business for you!
but for you to trick others into believing that is a Branded Palette, totally not acceptable!

This is her Link and surprise, surprise.... I was banned from looking at her Page already!

Reason? I asked her a simple question. I asked her if she is sure that it is a MAC Pro Palette?

She answered very confidently, YES! It's a Direct Shipment from US MAC Wholesale Retailer!

She obviously did not reply that comment, instead she deleted my 2nd comment!!!
She even block me from accessing her site..

Poor Me! I was just about to tell her, if it's authentic, i will personally buy all three palettes!

Before you all accuse me of trying to ruin her rice bowl or anything, let me just tell you girls that i was once cheated by an online seller of $80++ on FAKE MAC Products! This is because she told me it is a Genuine MAC product that is from a US Wholesale Co and is not released in Singapore yet.

Stupid me believed her because at that time, i was not knowledgeable enough about MAC Products.

It was only upon receiving the products and testing it and i see that the color payoff was super blah and i even had breakouts from the blusher that i went to the MAC Counter at Isetan Shaw to ask them about it that they told me it's fake! They even showed me their MAC Blusher and showed me the size difference, the fonts used, and how the texture of their blusher is totally different. The Fake Blusher is so damn chalky!!

This is why i really thought this must be spread to prevent other girls from buying these brands unknowingly.

True, the palettes that she sells are of good quality but it is still nowhere near the MAC Eyeshadows or blusher and i wish to reiterate again that it is a scrupulous way of making money!

Tell me, does these look anywhere like a damn MAC Pro Palette????

My very first! You might be wondering why it's EOTD + FOTD?

I initially wanted to do a EOTD only..cos i'm pretty lazy to keep taking pictures of myself.
Figured it would be better to just take picture of my eyes only.

But i got carried away. haha
So u will get to see a FOTD as well!

The colours are actually brighter in real life. My sister's camera kinda wash away all the colour. (Hates Samsung DC!)
My Sony Camera has to be sent for repair soon cos the BF accidentally dropped it the other day and now it has a mind of its own.

So i digress.

I told you! It was supposed to be purple.. It came out greyish in the pictures. Damn the camera.
I would say, the last picture is a bit closer to the colours.

Yesterday while browsing Onsugar, i saw Sarah's post on the Sephora Sale, i got sooo excited.

I was suposed to be on a makeup ban but oh well, rules are meant to be broken afterall.

Coincidentally, i was at Dhoby Ghaut having an Eventm, so i figured it would be accessible enough.
Got my bestie to come with me because i somehow have the feeling most of the stuffs will be like 2 For S$xx.xx that kind of thing?

Ok, maybe i should just shut up now and show you the pictures.

My loot. Only 4 items! I'm such a good girl *cough cough*
Before going over i told myself i can only spend maximum $50, not more than that!

Guess how much i spent? $30.00 only!!!!
My BF would be so proud of me!

I got three items from the Sephora line,

It's a 3 For $20.00 Promotion and the best thing is you can mix and match whatever you want.
If i can remember correctly, they also have their own Lip Liners, Eye Shadows and Liquid Foundation.

I also got myself an Eye Cake from Pop Beauty. It is my very first and only item from Pop Beauty.
For Pop Beauty, 2 for $20.00. So i got 1 for myself and 1 for the bestie.

2. Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara

There is actually two kinds of Mascara but the SA recommended me this one as it is an all-in-one.
The other one they have is the Lengthening Mascara..

For the mascaras, they have it in Blue, Black and Brown. I took the Black one!
I love the bristles on the mascara wand. It is very very fine and it separates my eyelashes nicely..

3. Sephora Lipstick in G19

This has got to be my favourite of the lot! I love the colour and i love the finish.
I also love the smell of it. It has this raspberry smell (i think). It kinda reminded me of Fruity Mentos. hehe

4. Sephora Blusher in 03 Framboise Attraction

I have a love hate relationship with the blusher. I love the colour but i think it is too sheer that i have to swipe it on my cheeks few times before i can really see the colour..

I know the picture is a bit blur, but it is true to colour.

I somehow can't get my camera to capture the colour nicely when i swatch it on my hand.
it either washes it off it doesnt appear at all.

So i'm gonna show you it looks when i apply it on my face ok?

I'm wearing the mascara, blusher and lipstick today.
I love the lipstick colour!!

oh.. pardon the zits. my hormones are raging hahahaha
Can't wait for my PMS to be over.

So if you gals would be at Suntec area, u might want to drop by there.

But do not have high expectations though cos the only makeup brand i saw was Sephora, Bare Minerals, Too Faced.
At least those are the ones i can recognise lah.

The others are Hair Products and also some organic stuffs etc.

Do not expect a wide range or a BIG space... cos it is afterall in a Meeting Room.

I have not been posting much cos i have been pretty busy with work.
That did not hinder me from shopping though!

First up will be my haul from Watson's recently.

• Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner
  (I love the smell and it really does make my hair much much smoother!)

• St Ives Apricot Scrub (Gentle)
  (Since many has raved about it, i tried and loved it too! I like that it does not have that scratchy feeling and the smell is not so overpowering)

• Physiogel Hypoallergenic Cleanser & Lotion
  (Mariamaegan recommended this is her Blog. I have used this for a week now and do seem to see a little bit of difference in my skin.)

• Hair Cologne from Daiso.
  This will come in handy after lunch! Loves the sweet smell and it is only $2!

• Sweet Snuggles Travel Treats (Shower Gel & Body Lotion)
  This smells divine!!! There is 4 pieces in it. I have a Chocolate Vanilla Shower Gel & Body Lotion and Hot Fudge Body Scrub and Creme Caramel Body Cream. I wore it the other day, and my boyfriend says i smell like a fresh-baked muffin. haha (i take that as a compliment)

Next will be a Mini Haul from Stage (again!)

If you have read my previous post, you would know that i love their eyeshadows and because it is part of their $10 promotion, i got 3 more of their eyeshadows. I must stray from browns. I have too many browns already!

Now comes my Inuovi swatches. I have finally completed my I'nuovi Mystery Shopper Program.
i went to Vivocity to watch a movie and got down to I'nuovi to get a Blusher as well.

This time round, the BA was very nice. It was a Malay girl but i seriously can't remember her name and i am to lazy to search for the receipt.
She was very attentive to needs and answered all my questions very confidently.
I told her i was looking for a blusher and she recommended me her personal favourite and i love it too!
It is a medium pinkish tone which is suitable for my skintone.

These are the two items i got from I'nuovi.
Intense Moisturising Lipstick in Sugar
Pressed Pigment Blush D36 in Entice

This is a good marketing Strategy from I'nuovi. Seriously, i have never used their products before.
But after using their lipstick, i love it!!

It is moisturising and i don't even need to apply lip balm in order to get a good glide.
Another thing will be the lasting power, after eating a Jumbo hotdog and Nachos in the movie, i get out of the cinema greeted with a nice lip stain on my lips.

The glossy finish was gone by then but i could still see the colours on my lips and it is soooo nice.

The bad side of it is, I'nuovi does not have many nice colours to choose from. Most of it are dark colours which i am not keen at.
If you ask me if i will buy another lipstick from them, it would be a definite yes!

I have not tried the blusher, so maybe i will do a review of it another time.

Next would the that one item that i have been anticipating for!

MY VERY 1ST NARS BLUSHER!!!!!

Mascarapage recently held a Sephora Spree during their F&F Sale. So i got the Nars Blusher and UDPP.

I got it in Orgasm and it was the best decision ever!!!
I totally had an orgasm when i swatched it because it was such a nice colour!!!
I totaly love the packaging and the blusher itself.

I am so gonna get some other colours!
